Understandably, most landlords are concerned about outgoings when letting their property.
In addition to a monthly agent commission there are often ancillary charges for inventories, safety certification and deposit registration which can make budgeting difficult. That is why our i is for Inclusive.
Retirement Properties
scottfraser have a relationship with the Abbeyfield Oxford Society, a branch of the Abbeyfield Society. This is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making the lives of older people easier and more fulfilling. Abbeyfield homes help people to live independently by providing a range of services, all of which are linked to the local community.
Abbeyfield currently has over 700 houses and 80 care homes across the UK. scottfraser currently market available rooms at the Supported and Sheltered Brian Lewis House located on St Clements. Supported sheltered houses are either purpose built or are adapted existing buildings furnished with specialist facilities, such as call alarm systems, lifts and assisted baths. Many of these houses also have additional aids to make life easier for frailer residents.
A typical Abbeyfield house accommodates eight to 12 people. Most houses offer rooms with en-suite facilities. Residents can personalise their own rooms with their own furniture and other treasured possessions. A professional manager supervises each house to ensure that every resident enjoys nutritious cooked meals every day and receives the level of support they require. Residents needing additional assistance can arrange visiting services such as home help, a care assistant or chiropodist

Moving into retirement accommodation?
Our team are able to offer lettings and property management services as well as residential sales services to those entering retirement accomodation.
Many people moving into retirement accommodation do not wish to sell their properties right away, we are able to offer a full lettings and management package to such clients to enable them to maintain their investment and provide them with income to assist with the costs that come with retirement accomodation. When the time comes to sell the property our residential sales team are able to provide this service and in some cases may even be able to offer the property through our investments department while the property is still occupied by tenants.
